WHAT NEEDS CHANGING

Ax the Tax

Enough is enough. The carbon tax hits hardworking families and businesses in St. Catharines where it hurts the most – their wallets. We need to scrap the carbon tax once and for all. By investing in research, innovation and green technology to reduce emissions, we can protect the environment without burdening taxpayers. The carbon tax is not the only tax burden that our citizens are facing that need to be addressed. As your MP, I will be there to fight for lower taxes.

Fix the Budget

Balanced budget approach: Your family and your children’s families deserve to have a government that believes in sound fiscal spending. It's time to rein in government spending and balance the budget. It’s important that taxpayer dollars are spent wisely and responsibly, without burdening future generations with debt. I will be there to identify wasteful practices and inefficiencies so we can ensure that every dollar of Federal money that comes to St. Catharines is used to benefit St. Catharines residents.

Debt Reduction: A plan to reduce the national debt will be a priority, safeguarding our financial future and creating a more stable economy in which St. Catharines can thrive and future generations can thrive in this beautiful city.

Build the Homes

I am committed to advocating for policies that promote the construction of more affordable housing units. You have relied on home ownership as one of the most important ways to build wealth and build a secure future for yourself but now home ownership seems like a lost dream to most of the younger generations. We have to empower Canadians to achieve home ownership by streamlining the process for new housing developments, incentivize the construction of affordable homes with rewards of federal money supply for exceeding production targets and turn that dream into reality.

Stop the Crime

Law and Order: We need to make sure our law enforcement officers have the resources and tools they need to keep our streets safe. They are putting their lives and safety on the line for the lives and safety of others. By cracking down on crime, we'll create a safer community for all St. Catharines residents and for our police force who are putting themselves at risk everyday.

St. Catharines residents deserve to feel safe in their communities. We will take a tough stance on crime to ensure that criminals face consequences for their actions.

Kim’s Value Proposition

“I believe in striking a balance between wise spending and extending a helping hand to those in need. It's about empowering people while also encouraging self-reliance.

I'm convinced that the best way to keep Canadians flourishing is by giving them the freedom to pursue their dreams in a competitive economy where innovation and entrepreneurship thrive. When folks can enjoy the fruits of their labour, it spurs them on to keep striving for success.

I firmly support the right of Canadians to own property. Owning a home or land isn't just about having a roof over your head—it's about building a secure and stable future for yourself and your loved ones.

I celebrate our differences while honouring our traditions, bringing together people from all walks of life to work towards making Canada stronger.

I believe in Canada's sovereignty and unity, guided by democratic principles and the rule of law outlined in our Constitution.

Every human life is valuable and deserving of dignity. I stand for equality, ensuring that all Canadians are treated fairly, regardless of where they come from or their circumstances.”
